Random Post:

These past few days have been hard. Especially since my work has been down. I work with a Disposal Company. The way it works is that if they get paid, then I get paid, and if they dont... then I don't either. The company I work with can be very generous though, for the most part.

My husband got a raise. He works at walgreens, he got a raise for knowing how to use the photo department. So I guess that is very good for us. He is half way through his pharmacy-tech book as well... that's awesome. =) Very happy about that.

My brother is quiting his job. He had a cancer in his leg and now he can barely walk sometimes so he is going to quit because he can't move anything anymore... that sucks. =(

I havent cooked yet.... will soon though. lol.

Is Head and Shoulders addictive?

Okay so since my husband and I got married in November and we started off with little to no money(we are living in one of my dad's house basically for free) we have been looking for every possible way to save money on basically everything so that we can move out soon and get our own place. So, naturally we've been buying food so I can cook instead of eating out, we've been buying cheap brands of everything you can think of... lotion, body soap, the GREAT VALUE CHEESE.

Now, ever since I can remember, living with my mom till I was 20 and got married, I always used the Shampoo that was there. It was Head and Shoulders. I never really thought much about it, till we bought shampoo as a married couple for the first time.... my choice you might ask? EQUATE. The walmart knock off of Head and Shoulders. It says it contains the same medicine, so we bought it and I thought nothing of it.

2 Days into me using Equate... I have THE most itchy scalp you can possibly imagine, and I scratched so much that I even cut my scalp and you could see it. I had so much dandruff it wasn't even funny. I told my husband there was probably something in EQUATE that made me allergic to it, or something of that sort. So we tried a different (cheaper) shampoo... SUAVE.

- MY HEAD DID NOT GET BETTER!!-

3 days into me using this other shampoo, the itchiness had gone away, but I had more dandruff than I ever had in my life. Being a girl I felt icky and disgusting at the way you could CLEARLY see the dandruff on my head! And it had almost been a week with this problem. So I did what any girl would do in my situation.

I went over to my mom and dad's house and took a shower there. O_O What do you guys think happened? I wake up today and I have NO DANDRUFF. My head is not itchy at all, and I feel a lot better. But all off the fuss and commotion over shampoo got me thinking. Is it possible that if you use ONE shampoo for so many years, your scalp becomes so used to it that it starts having withdraw symptoms when you stop using it? Or is it just that Head and Shoulders has something in it that makes your scalp addicted?

I'm not a doctor so I will never know. But I was left wondering... but I thought that this was an interesting observation and a discovery of a life time for me... note to self: never change shampoo brands.

This is officially my first blog post so I do so hope that you will come back for information soon. Also if you request information, we will definitely do some research for you!
